RainbowHat 'display.print_float()' no decimal places

    calctemp = ambient - ((cpuTemp - ambient)/ 0.65)

    rainbowhat.display.print_float(calctemp)
    rainbowhat.display.show()

I've tried formating the temperature but that doesn't display it either, what am I missing?
